Junior Legal Pads

I finished up the last of the legal pad covers this weekend.  I only made a handful of these.  Just enough to have for the show and to see how well-received they are.

I think I'm about done with my 3-D projects.  Now I need to inventory my cards and see how many more I need to whip up before Saturday!  Yikes!

Tea Bag Holders

You guessed it!  More craft fair goodies!  I tried to be so clever when I made these, attempting to match my color scheme to the colors on the tea bag wrappers themselves.  I didn't do too bad!

This is another great quick and easy project I CASEd from Angie Juda.  I "stalk" her website regularly!  :)

Hot Cocoa Sliders

More goodies for the craft fair!  These are fun and easy to make.  However, I always struggle (read > over-analyze) my design for the front.  Once I get past that, these go together in a snap.  I've used a mix of old and new supplies, as I have been with all of these projects I've been working on.  It's been a nice stroll down memory lane!

For those of you who may not be familiar with how these sliders work, when you untie the bow at the top and pull up on the ribbon, it pulls the hot cocoa packet up out of the sleeve.  Cute and simple!

Halloween Tic Tac Holders

Just a quick post to share the orange tic tacs that were "treated" to a Halloween theme.

I have finished my hot cocoa sliders and tea bag holders for the craft fair as well, and will be sharing those shortly.

Altered Memo Pads

I've already showed you one of these, but here is the rest of the "crew!"

Just like the Tic Tac Packs, these would make awesome little gifts for a teacher, student, co-worker, etc.  I'm excited to see the response to these at my upcoming craft fair.

Next on my list ..... tea bag holders and hot cocoa sliders!!

Have a great day!

Tic Tac Packs

I've made a few of these for my upcoming craft fair as well.  As with many of the other items I'm making, this was uncharted territory for me.  I'm so pleased with how they turned out.  I think they're stinkin' cute, if I do say so myself!

These would be awesome teacher gifts, stocking stuffers, co-worker gifts ... you name it!

I also have some orange Tic Tacs that's I'm going to decorate with a Halloween theme.  I'll be back to show you those later.

More Craft Fair Goodies

I tried my hand at altering some composition notebooks.  I only purchased four since I wasn't sure how it would go.  Well, I just have this to say ..... LOVE THESE!!

Tried to save a little blog space by showing them as a collage.  I really love the one in the lower left corner!  Gorgeous Paisley Petals designer series paper and some (sadly) discontinued double stitched grosgrain ribbon in Baja Breeze.  I'm totally ok if this one doesn't sell at the craft fair!  ;)

A few closeups of the spine details.  I confess I was tempted to do a simpler version and not cover the black binding these come with.  But it makes such a finished, beautiful product when you do.  The first one I did is the one with the punched flowers on the spine and the scalloped borders under the edge of the spine.  Nope -- won't do that again.  Too tedious to line up and secure.

I definitely see more of these in my crafting future (wink, wink, Christmas gifts)!

Note Pad Cover

I'm still working on goodies for the craft fair on the 29th.  This is the note pad cover I came up with recently.  It holds a junior legal pad.

Love these discontinued colors.  The image is from one of our great hostess sets, Simply Soft.  So pretty.

Just a little light watercoloring is all it needed.

More goodies to come!!

Sticky Note Frenzy!

I promised you another version of the sticky note holder, and here it is.  I got the dimensions and some inspiration from Kerry's Paper Crafts.  She makes such cute bright ones!  I have a few more of these to make, then I'm going to switch back to the other style I shared with you yesterday.

I've used new and retired SU products on these.  They are a lot of fun to make, super easy, and a bit addictive!  I need to come up with a different layout, but using the 1 1/4" circle punch and the scallop punch is one of my very favorite arrangements.  And it works so well on this small space.

I hope you enjoy these.  I've certainly enjoyed being in my craft room and listening to the sound of RAIN!  In Texas!  It's amazing.  It needs to do this for a couple of weeks now.  Keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm back!

I have been very absent from my blog!  After several weeks of being sidelined by health-related issues, I'm now feeling much better and back in my craft room.

I've decided to participate in a craft fair at a local church at the end of the month, so I'm busy creating some fun items for that.  The first one I'm sharing with you is a CASE from Angie Kennedy Juda.  I love her website and get a lot of inspiration from her.  She has such cute and creative ideas that look like you spent a mountain of time on them, but haven't.  I especially loved her tip on how to make a template for the notepad cover.

I used a lot of retired cardstock, designer series paper and stamps (and some non-SU ribbon), but I totally love the way it came out.  I'm looking forward to making more of these.  Once you get your template made, you can whip these out pretty darn fast.

Another cute and quick project I got from Angie is this cute sticky note holder.  Be sure to follow her link to the video for the tip on crimping the folded edge of the holder.

I used more retired items and contraband ribbon!  I kind of like that these hold only half a pack of sticky notes, as that will make them go farther.  (El-cheapo me!)

I have another type of sticky note holder that I will share with you later, as well as a notepad cover I devised all by my lonesome tonight!  Shocker!

Well, my husband and the dogs have gone off to bed without me.  I guess that's my cue to call it a night!
