It's a BIG DAY Tomorrow!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I hope you're having a wonderful week so far.  I've been busy, busy, busy getting ready for my big online auction tomorrow.  You've heard me talk about the online auction sites I sell on (Tophatter and Outbid).  Tophatter has a program where sellers can apply to have a Partner Auction.  If approved, you get to host a featured auction that has all of your items only in it, and Tophatter "partners" with you in promoting your auction.  I was surprised when I was approved!

My auction is tomorrow at 11am CST.  Here is the link if you'd like to RSVP and attend:  Sheri's Craft and Jewelry Supply Auction.  One hundred lots of cool stuff!!  Woot!  Even if you don't make jewelry, there are some regular crafty type items as well, including tags/die cuts, twine, ribbon, buttons, tins, washi tape and more!

Here's a little sampling of what you'll see in the auction.

I hope you'll be able to join me tomorrow.  Please spread the word to your friends who might be interested as well.

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Stamping!

WOYWW 223

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

First off, we can't forget the significance of today.  Never forget all of the sacrifices made on 9/11.

Today is also a WOYWW day.....What's on Your Work desk Wednesday, courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.  It's fun to have a look at other creative desks around the world.  Make sure you pop over there and have a peek!

Remember last week I was trying to get organized and using a new planner?  Yesterday I was going to cave in and spend too much money on the ARC system at Staples, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.  I even had all the stuff in my cart and put it back.  Instead, I picked up a 1" view binder and have been working on making it all pretty and customized for me.  I'm still not sold on the full size, because after all, it's not exactly portable or easily stuffed in a purse.  But since I work from home, that's not a huge issue for me on a regular basis.
This is my desk and the dividers I've cut from some gorgeous K & Company card stock I've been hoarding.  I did go back and laminate it for extra strength and durability.

Isn't this pretty card stock?  And the turquoise butterflies are all glittery.  Be still my heart!

This section is glittery too, but it doesn't show up well in the photo.  This was just a strip cut off the piece I used for the front cover.  It fit perfectly for the spine of the book.

Oh, so pretty!

The tabs are Post It tabs.  You can reposition them and write whatever you want on them.

I thought maybe if I added a section for my poor neglected blog that I might feel a sense of urgency to give it more attention!

WOYWW 222

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

It's time to take our trip around the blogophere and sneak a look at creative work desks!  This is all courtesy of Julia and Stamping Ground.  Make sure you pop over there and join in on the fun!

Today my "desk" is actually my dining room table from earlier this morning.  Nothing terribly creative, but trying to get organized.  **snort**

New format, new size.  Not sure I like it.

This is where I'm trying to track everything I currently have listed in auctions.
Still not enough room!  If anyone has some brilliant ideas, please share!

I'm taking somewhat of a break from my usual frenzied online auction selling pace this week and trying to get more organized and refocused on how I want to be spending my time.  I'm a regular follower of Toni Hammersley at A Bowl Full of Lemons.  She recently started a Facebook page for Planner Addicts!  Oh my goodness, some of those folks are so creative with their planners!  Why did I never think of using all my stamps, stickers, washi tape and other paper crafting paraphernalia in a planner to jazz it up??  Holy smokes!

On a completely unrelated note, say hello to Brandy!  She's the newest four-legged member of our family.  We adopted her through Texas Boston Terrier Rescue.  Isn't she adorable????
