Happy Wednesday Everyone!

It's a rainy day here in south Texas and my husband is on vacation.  Just a quick little post here to participate in the weekly romp across creative desks courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.  Be sure to pop over there and check it out!  It's loads of fun!

Here's the state of my work desk this morning.  Quite messy.

This was my project last night among all the mess.  A local store has asked me to provide Western themed wine charms.  Obviously, these are NOT those!  I was just playing around with making my own rings from memory wire.  Kind of tedious and a bit small, but it works.  I have regular rings/hoops and assorted charms on their way to me, but I wanted to play around just for fun.  The store owner says she sells the wine charms like crazy, especially to Europeans who want to take something they perceive as Texas-related back with them.  I have an assortment of charms coming, like cowboy hats and boots, horses, horseshoes, stars and more.  Should be fun!

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Crafting!

Happy Wednesday Everybody!

It's time to hop around the globe and have a look at creative desks everywhere!  This is courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.  Be sure you pop over there and check out all of the linked up fun!!

This week I'm working on some key chains/zipper pulls/binder charms that will be sold to help benefit Texas Boston Terrier Rescue.  That's the group we volunteer with and adopted our sweet Brandy from (see her pic on the left).  This weekend is Pet Fest in Old Town Spring and TBTR will be set up there the entire weekend.  I'm trying to get a bunch of these made up for them to sell there and I'm donating half of the sale price to them.  Please feel free to go directly to their website and make a donation if you would like!!

So here's the state of my work table this morning.  Pretty much covered from end to end!!

I'm trying to make them in a variety of colors to appeal to the most number of people.  I'm also making an "I love dogs" edition for folks like me who have numerous canine companions!  Can you see the little bone charm I've attached to each one??  Cute!

This isn't the prettiest packaging, but it works.  Simply taped to a pretty piece of card stock and placed in a 3x5 zip top baggie, along with my business card on the back.

Enjoy your day!!
