Wedding Invitations

Wow, I've been so neglectful of this blog.  I certainly wish I understood how to make it look "fancier" like a lot of my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators do with their independent blogs.  I do try to update my Stampin' Up! blog every so often, but have totally neglected this one.

So what have I been working on?  Mainly, wedding invitations and thank you cards for my youngest daughter's upcoming wedding in May.  It was quite an undertaking, and not really because the stamping techniques were that difficult.  But when you're making 150 with multiple layers and construction challenges, and doing it all by yourself,'s time consuming!  So here's how things progressed:

Stacks and stack of Ballet Blue (retired) cardstock

Pocket assembly with Sticky Strip

Invitation closed with embossed image on front flap

Invitation open, showing pocket with RSVP card, envelope, and maps

Tied shut with pretty silver ribbon

The RSVP cards.  I left just enough room at top for the wheeled image.

Completed stacks of invitations everywhere!  Oh, and did I mention I was revamping my craft room in the middle of this process with the JetMax cubes I got at 40% off at Michaels?????

Ready for packaging and mailing!  Good grief!

And what, you may be wondering, am I working on now?  Thank you cards, of course!

Thank you card #1 (don't know why I can't get this to orient properly)

Thank you card #2 components

Flowers for card two

Voila!  Card #2!

Thanks for looking and happy stamping!
