WOYWW 145

It's time for our weekly trip around the globe to snoop at the desks of other creative souls.  This weekly journey is brought to us courtesy of the lovely Julia over at Stamping Ground.

This week, it appears that someone snuck into my craft room and set off a bomb.

The culprit must know how stressful it is for me to work with so much stuff strewn all over the place.  The nerve of them!

The mess even extends all over the room and floor!  Horrors!

Ok.  Confession time.  It seems I'm the culprit.  I've leased a booth in an antique/arts & crafts place (Tomball Arts & Crafts Showcase) and I've been getting everything ready for that.  The most time-consuming part is setting up an inventory system that meets their criteria for marking everything (vendor number, item number, brief description and price on every item).  Thank heaven for Excel and the mail merge function!  The baskets in the photo above show a lot of the stuff I've already bagged and tagged.  However, now I've run out of labels and Wal Mart didn't have the sizes I need when I was there earlier.  Guess that means a trip to Office Depot tomorrow!

Did you see all the stamped bunnies on the desk above?  Here's what I did with them!

I've also made a few boxes/bags/baskets as well.  After all, Easter is upon us!  I still want to make some sets of gift tags, some 3 X 3 gift cards, and just a few lip balm holders.  I've also discovered a few "gaps" in card categories, so I'll work on that as well.  I'll save all of those pictures for another time, since this post seems to be getting pretty darn lengthy!  :)

I would love feedback from the other paper crafters out there who participate in craft shows, fairs, festivals, etc. as to what your best selling items are and any advice you may want to share.

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Stamping!

  2. Wow, good for you! Hope it works out really well - love the bunny pops, am sure they'll be popular! I don't have any specific advice except, try not to take it personally if things that you like don't sell..it's all about hitting their spot...and that's harder than it looks!

  5. Hope that goes well for you, I only do one craft fair a year and always it's the stationery sets and calendars that sell the best. Take care, it's Thursday but I'm still snooping the WOYWW desks & loving every minute of it! Zo xx 33
