Hand Stamped Sentiments #112 and Try Stampin' on Tuesday #60

Happy GOOD FRIDAY Everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your day and taking the time to reflect on what this weekend and Easter truly means.

Today I have a graduation card for you in response to two challenges.

First, Hand Stamped Sentiments has a color challenge to use Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pink, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla (or neutral).  I wasn't too sure about that combination, but took a chance on it anyway!

Second, Try Stampin' On Tuesday had a neat, clean sketch.  So, I combined the two!

Needless to say, if you don't like pinks and purples, you're not going to like my card!  Whew!

I added a bit of color and shimmer to the tag with both SU's Dazzling Details and my clear Atyou Spica pen.

I didn't use a lot of Early Espresso.  It was the color in this combination that perplexed me.  I mean, I like pink and brown, but the extremes of espresso and razzleberry concerned me.   I did stamp the image with espresso ink and mounted my tag on espresso card stock.  But as you can see, I pretty much let the tons of PINK take over this card!

Be sure to pop over to each of the challenge sites and check out the other great artwork!

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Stamping!
