WOYWW 213 and Absentee Blogging

I've been at it again.  Being an absentee blogger, that is.  I shall reprimand myself with lashes from the infamous wet noodle!

From Millan.Net

For those that may have forgotten, WOYWW stands for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  Hosted by the lovely Julia of Stamping Ground, we get to take a romp around the internet and visit other crafty spaces.

Mine isn't looking overly horrible today, but it could certainly look better!

A little of this, a little of that, and quite a few things that need to find their "spots."

And what about those earrings laying there?  Well, that's my newest project.  Ever since I started making jewelry, I've felt pangs of guilt about neglecting my beloved paper crafting.  Well, I may have just stumbled on a way to combine the two!

Voila!

The "medallion" portion of these earrings is made from three layers of coordinating SU designer series paper.  I glued them together with Scotch quick dry adhesive for a good, strong bond, and then covered them front and back with several coats of matte Mod Podge to seal and protect them.  It also helped stiffen them up a bit as well.  I'm really pleased with how they turned out.  Minimal jewelry parts (jump rings and crackle beads) finish them off.  I foresee making more of these for sure!

Be sure to pop over to Stamping Ground and visit the other creative folks who are sharing their work spaces!

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Crafting!
