Tag It Tuesday July 2016 Tag

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today I'm revealing the tag and process video for the July 2016 Tag It Tuesday project.  Boy, I don't know what I was thinking asking y'all to make a tag with those two colors!!

I surprisingly found an "ugly" mop up tag in my stash that worked pretty well with the theme, so that was my starting point.  Add in some stencils, crackle glaze, and pretty flowers, and I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with my end project!

This was the first time I'd use my DecoArt Crackle Glaze, and I have to say, I'm super excited about it!  It's part of their Media line of products.  I love the finish it gave, it dried fast, and easy clean up of my brush.  You'll definitely be seeing more of this in future projects!

Tag It Tuesday Theme - July 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I hope you all had a fun and safe Independence Day!  This was our first in our new home and it was very refreshing for us (and the dogs!) that it was much quieter than where we lived the last several years.

With the new month upon us, it's time to announce a new Tag It Tuesday theme.  As you know, we've been focusing on color themes this year, and in particular, the Pantone colors.  This month is no exception.

We're using a pair of colors this month, and I'll be the first to admit, these two may be tough to use together.  All the challenges can't be easy, can they??

Be sure to come over to the Tag It Tuesday Facebook group, which is where you can now post pictures of your completed tags.  As always, use any type or shape of tag you like, and any media that floats your boat!  Invite your friends to join us.  The more the merrier!
