Happy Sunday Everyone!
We made it!! It's day ten of our look at the Pantone 2014 Spring Colors! I've had fun walking through this group of colors. It's made me remember how much I love a variety of color and not just one color family (even though I really am a pastels kind of girl). Our final color today is called Dazzling Blue. It is a beauty!
I found a couple of things in my handmade and supply inventory that echo this color. I actually have some card stock that nearly matches Dazzling Blue perfectly, but I don't have anything made with it right now! Let's take a look at what I did find!
This little lip balm holder on the left is a cute little item. Great for a stocking stuffer, teacher gift, etc. The ribbon unties to open and reveal and full sized lip balm inside.
The silver and blue beads on the right don't exactly match Dazzling Blue, but they are plenty dazzling!!
Well, I am off to finish getting ready for church. Amid all the hustle and bustle and commercialism that surrounds us at this time of year, I hope you take time to reflect and remember what the season is REALLY about.
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Luke 2:8-11 NIV
