Paper Players #81 and A La Card Monkey #94

Happy Wednesday Everyone!  I combined two challenges for today's card.  The theme at The Paper Players is flowers -- yea!  And over at A La Card Monkey, it's a sketch challenge plus a birthday theme.




Believe it or not, I designed this card around the piece of (retired) Baja Breeze ribbon I had cut for something else and then didn't use.  It's such a yummy color, and I knew I could depend on a piece of DSP from the Paisley Petals collection to coordinate beautifully.





I just got Flower Fest and the coordinating punches yesterday, so I was quick to bust them out and use them!  I thought this flower and punch somewhat echoed the shape of the flowers in the DSP.

      Love that stamped center background. Baja Breeze is one of my favorite blues.
