Throwback Thursday

Happy Thursday Everyone!  Another pre-scheduled post that hopefully goes live when it's supposed to!  If you saw my post last Thursday, you know we've been on a road trip to Arizona to help my mom celebrate her 82nd birthday.  And we either got back last night, or we're on the road today, so that's why I've pre-scheduled my Thursday feature ahead of time!

Today's card features another old Sale-A-Bration set, this one from 2001 entitled "Just For Fun."  It's a cute little set of eight stamps that are all-occasion in nature.  I love those types of stamp sets that can be used for multiple occasions throughout the year!  Since I was on a roll of hearts before I went on my trip, this one again has a bit of Valentine's Day overtones, but would easily work for birthday, wedding/anniversary or thinking of you.

I used retired cardstock and ink colors again, and kept the focal image pretty simple with a bit of watercolor and marker coloring, then went over the main "rose" image with my white gel pen.  The Eggplant Envy strip is wrapped with a piece of retired white organza ribbon to add a bit of softness and shimmer.  A simple embossed background of Perfect Polka Dots seemed sufficient for this sweet, simple card.

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Stamping!
