Happy Wednesday Everyone!

It's that time during the week when we gallop around the globe to check out the creative desks of our counterparts!  This fun romp through the blogosphere is courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.  Make sure you pop over there and have a go at checking out all the links!  It's quite a challenge!  (Confession:  I'm terrible about making it around to everyone and about leaving comments.  It doesn't mean I haven't visited you .... but many times I whip right onto the next site without leaving a comment.  --hanging head in shame-- )

Not much happening here yet today, as I'm gearing up to address a couple of card challenges this morning, plus the fact that I did some cleaning and reorganizing yesterday.  I'm also debating about applying for another design team, but I'm not sure I'm up for the rejection again!  Maybe I should start my own challenge blog so I can head up my own design team!!  What do you think????!!!!!  Any takers????

Here's the reorganizing I did yesterday.  I flipped these two cubes from landscape to portrait and purchased (with a 50% off coupon!) at JoAnn's a Cropper Hopper value pack paper library.

I decided I could get more bang for my buck if I used the interior pockets and the holder itself separately.

I had been using these envelope-type storage folders (below) for my 12 X 12 papers, but they can get bulky and stretched out of shape.  I just felt like they were taking up more room than necessary.  However, I'm not sure I'm sold on storing the paper vertically rather than horizontally, as I'm concerned about it warping or curling.

The only issue I see so far with using the exterior holder on its own is how to corral the scraps of the different groups of paper.  I remembered I had some of these plastic slash pocket thingies (yes, that's the technical term) and thought they would work well.  We'll see how it goes.  If I end up liking this method of storage, I'll go back next week and buy another value pack, since the guy at JoAnn's gave me another 50% off coupon good for next week!  Wheeeee!

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Stamping!

  7. I love your desk! So clean! And great light, too! I wished I had the room to have a paper storage like you. And if you do apply to another design team, I hope you get accepted.

  8. I started up my own Christmas challenge blog and am now in the second year of it and I think it is a success. I've resisted getting a team involved, so just run it myself ... perhaps one day I'll involve a team, something I think about sometimes. Love all your organisation - thanks for sharing - Hazel, WOYWW #10 x

  9. Now that is a tidy workplace, love the storage too, I store my paper flat and can never find the right one so this looks like a better option. Hugs, Amanda #123

  13. I used to run my own blog challenges through a group as well and unless you have heaps of support it won't work. Then there is the prizes etc that have to be organized etc. So, so much work. I love your art and I am sure you will be picked for another DT soon, just keep applying.

Need any help let me know.
