WOYWW 180

Hello my friends!

I have a confession to make.

I am a bad blogger as of late.  I ask for your forgiveness.

I've been sucked into the world of Tophatter and other various sundry online activities.  Oh no...nothing illegal.  Just time stealing.  You know....Facebook....Pinterest....Etsy....and the list goes on.  I firmly believe there should be a twelve (or more) step program for these ailments.  Would you join me at a group meeting???

Anyway, it's that time of the week when we zip around the globe visiting other crafty desks in the grand blogosphere.  Our trip is sponsored by the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground.

This evening as I prepare to "call it a night" as they say, here is the state of affairs of my desk:

The arts and crafts market where I have a booth is having a special event on December 1st  featuring American Girl and Santa.  Yes, an odd combo, but nevertheless, what I had to work with.  The shop owner asked me to make autograph booklets.  Apparently there will be one of the models who portrays one of the "American Girls" along with Santa, so I guess that constitutes an autograph session.  So I perused the AG website, and that's where the color scheme and stars came from.

Since I was asked to keep the books small both in size AND price, I did virtually no embellishing.  This is a little matchbook-style section with four pages for the autographs.

As I still have a bunch of 6 X 9 envelopes left from when my daughter got married over a year ago, I employed them for the other "pages."  Folded in half and trimmed slightly, dressed up with pretty paper and a couple of tag inserts, they do the job nicely.

And next up, waiting on my computer desk.....

Waiting for some pretty Christmas papers and ribbon.  Why yes...I'm prepping for a "Winter Fest" show at a local elementary school on December 1.  Busy, busy, busy.......

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Stamping!

  2. great looking books and I think minimal embellies is a good idea. I bought some tins like that last year to make some candy boxes and they were a blast. Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #62
