YouTube, here I come! / WOYWW 276

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

It's time to do some desk hopping, courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.  If you haven't participated before, be sure to pop over to Julia's blog.  We have fun every week popping around for a looksee at other creative folks' desks.  Give it a try!

Not a lot going on here right now.  What you see are some of the remnants at my first stab at making a video for my teeny weeny YouTube channel.  I've done "videos" before, but they were the still photo variety.  This is my first one actually filming work in progress with an actual video camera.  I did a quick tutorial on the Triple Time or Triple Layer stamping technique, complete with bloopers left in!  :)

The card top right is the one made in the video.  The others are samples that I showed at the end of the video.

I think my next video attempt will be to show how to make cool "marbled" backgrounds with the shaving cream technique.  Could be interesting .... lots of opportunities for bloopers while doing that!

If you'd like to see my little video debut, here you go!  If you choose to like and subscribe to my channel, I surely will appreciate that!

Thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments everyone leaves. Happy Crafting!

  1. Sheri, I love looking at your desk. More than that though, I love your elephant collection in the window! I have an elephant collection also. Some of our elephants are alike. I have the crystal one and also the black onyx one on the right hand side. I love my elephants. Thanks for a sneak peek into your work area. hugs, Patty

    1. That's just a small sampling of my elephants. My grandma took me to a museum when I was in grade school in St. Joseph, MO and there was THE most amazing elephant collection there. I was just so taken with them, and that's how my collection started. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Thank you !!!! This is wonderful! I need an easy but pretty way to ease myself into card making & I believe this is it! Sheri I have to say this video is just awesome. If it weren't for you saying so, you would never be able to tell that this was your first live video. No way! You did a great job. I have to agree with Nanette that you are easy to follow and very pleasant to listen to. I love that you left the mis-color stamp in the video too! You have a great sense of humor Sheri. I would love to see you do this more. I really like the video!
    Big Hugs!
